FIRST LOOK: ERGON GDH TEAM GRIPS
The eagle eyed World Cup DH fans might have spied this on a few of Ergon’s pro athletes bikes this summer. Notably the likes of Troy Brosnan, Vali Höll and Luca Shaw. The GDH Team is the new downhill standard grip from the German component giant. We’ve just taken our first delivery of these and are now available to purchase.
The GDH grip is designed for aggressive trails in mind. Featuring multi-layer padding on the top for maximum damping. Underneath features a pronounced finger grip zone, these are pre-curved to work with hand as it rolls backwards on the grip. You can see these grippers on the picture below.
The grips feature a nice CNC machined collar in a gun metal grey. Just the only one collar is used which is common for most grips nowadays. The bar plug is loose and replaceable, in the event of scuffing it up it can be replaced.
Weighing in at 115grams for a pair and 135mm in length. The Ergon GDH Team grip looks to be great choice for those wanting maximum cushion and traction.
