New Burgtec signature Ratboy Bartender grips and B-Rage MK5 pedals
It’s been a busy few weeks for our friends at Burgtec, two new signature products dropped in a matter of weeks. We all love a bit of Burgtec, you’ll see all our bikes dripping in the stuff and our customers certainly love it too. Being one of our most popular selling brands. We now have a new pair of Josh Bryceland signature Bartender Pro grips and Brage Vestavik edition MK5 pedals. Check out them below to get the full scoop on both.
BURGTEC THE BARTENDER PRO JOSH BRYCELAND SIGNATURE GRIP
Josh Bryceland needs no introduction, a World Cup DH overall winner now turned legendary jib king. He’s no stranger to working with Burgtec too, his Ride High signature handlebars are super popular with the freeride crowd, offering a whopping 50mm rise. When it came to grips though, he was looking for something a litter softer and closer to a push on grip. The idea was to create grip that had the feel of a push on but with the reliability of a lock on.
They achieved this by adding a cut away section under your outer three knuckles, this removes a lot of plastic from the core of the grip. Which puts more rubber straight to bar offering more comfort and less fatigue. This is then combined with a horizontal ‘mushroom’ style of pattern, which is generally well known for being super comfortable yet grippy. These grips will work with gloves, without gloves, wet, dry basically every combination of how we ride in the UK.

BURGTEC PENTHOUSE MK5 B-RAGE EDITION PEDALS
Brage Vestavik is a freerider from Norway. The freeride scene kind of fizzled out over the past few years but it is back with a bang, bikes are getting burlier and so are the components. Enter the B-Rage edition Penthouse MK5 pedals.
The B-Rage edition takes the MK5 up notch, size and weight is not important. Strength, grip and reliability were the keys to the mission. The platform is increased by 12mm front to back, creating a massive amount of support for the biggest of hits. This is combined with three key centre pins, something Burgtec has not offered in nearly 20 years with the MK1 Penthouse. Brage was looking for little extra centre support, so this made the most sense for him.
