New OneUp Wave pedal offers a new platform concept…
OneUp Components have just dropped a new set of flat pedals. The brand based in Squamish, BC are known for their well thought out designs and simple solutions to todays modern mountain bike problems. Their previous premium aluminium pedal, has been a hit with many riders. Offering a narrow Q factor and huge platform for maximum traction. But like all of OneUp’s products, the brand likes to innovate with new ideas and concepts. Enter the Wave…
The new OneUp Components Wave pedal name comes from the new convex + concave profile that OneUp have patented. The idea being the concave front of the pedal hugs the balls of your feet. Whilst a convex rear promotes a more supportive, ankles down approach offering better power and control.
It is an interest concept, since naturally as most pedals rotate anyway to your ankle profile but we are excited to give them a try.
The Wave pedal also features updated internals with a igus™ bushings and three outboard cartridge bearings. Every set of pedal comes with the bearing nut tool and we will keep the service kits in stock. Like all our other OneUp pedal spares.
