Seat Clamps

Seat clamps! A simple component but very crucial to an enjoyable riding experience. The obvious is in the name, these clamp your seat or more accurately the seat post. They are size specific for the frame, this has scaled down a bit from the past and now there are four main sizes in MTB. These being 34.9, 36.4, 38.6 and 39.7. There are still some smaller options being used on road/gravel bikes, like 31.8 but a lot of those frames use integrated seat clamps. These are specific to the brand. But nothing beats a quality band on style. Generally available in either a quick release or bolt allen configuration. But since the rise of dropper posts the quick release has become less common.
