With the Peaty’s Monarch Pro Lock On Grip – Knurl, Peaty’s have sweated every detail in pursuit of purposeful performance. We tested over 40 different compound and material combinations with our riders and racers to eke out those marginal gains and improve on an already award-winning grip.

The result is Monarch Pro, featuring a number of distinctive upgrades.

UPPER HALF: THE SQUISHY GRIPPY BIT:

• The upper half of the grip, flange and thumb pad uses a super soft and grippy 15a durometer rubber compound. This area is where riders hands mainly contact the grip and the rubber offering progressive damping and higher levels of grip.
• Combining this softer, tacky 15a rubber with a cut-out in the grip-core ensures the Monarch Pro offer an unmatched level of comfort and control for the rider, while also absorbing trail chatter and harsh impacts.
• The Monarch Pro Zig-Zag comfort thumb pad is also made from 15a rubber to ensure grip, comfort and cushioning.

LOWER HALF: ENGINEERED FOR DURABILITY AND PRO-LEVEL CONTROL

The underside, finger bars, and bar ends are moulded from a firmer 30A compound material called Duralite. Duralite is a unique blend designed to deliver both exceptional comfort and long-lasting durability.

Key properties:

• Duralite is over twice as durable than rubber.
• The firmer compound retains its shape and structure which gives a more positive feel when pulling on your grips.
• Perfect to keep bar ends protected against impacts and scuffs.

No squirm or alter of balance, just response.

IMPACT DAMPENING CORE

The tapered core of the Monarch PRO has been re-engineered to include a cut away channel. This channel sits on top of the grip which is the highest pressure point on the hands.

This subtly increases the amount of soft 15a rubber under the riders palm dampens hits and reduces small bump chatter. This results in more comfort and less hand fatigue.
