Galfer Shark Disc Rotor 160 x 1.8mm – Centrelock

The brand new Galfer Shark Disc Rotor 160 x 1.8mm – Centrelock offers all the technical performance of the larger Shark rotors. But in a smaller, lighter disc.

At 1.8mm thick and weighing just 104 grammes, the Shark 160 is ideal for cross country and more gravity orientated trail bikes. This allows riders to reduce rotor size from 180mm to 160mm not only saving weight but also improving braking performance.

Better braking, better cooling, consistent feel and increased pad durability make Shark rotors the best choice for any rider looking for the ultimate in stopping power.

The benefits of the Shark design are:

• Longer brake pad life – typically brake pad life is increased by 25 – 40% depending on conditions.
• Increased braking power – the advanced design of the Shark rotor requires less braking pressure that increases real braking power by 5-10% while reducing hand fatigue.
• Increased stability and brake feel – the structural design of the Shark rotor means that it remains stable and consistent. Even under extreme conditions and high temperatures and so provides a more consistent, reliable and progressive feel.
• Lightweight – typically around 15-50% lighter than other rotors on the market
