RAW/KASHIMA DUE END OF MAY 2026, REGISTER FOR FIRST DROP INTO THE UK

Galfer expands its iconic range with its most anticipated evolution. The new Galfer Shark EVO Disc Rotor Centrelock, aimed at riders seeking uncompromising performance.

This new model raises the technological bar even further, while maintaining the DNA of innovation and reliability that has made the Shark family a symbol of trust among both professional and amateur riders.

The new Shark EVO Disc is the only brake disc on the market with original Kashima coating, a premium technology previously reserved for high-end suspensions and components. This innovation reinforces its exclusive, distinctive, and high-performance character.

THREE EXCLUSIVE FINISHES TO COMBINE STYLE AND PERFORMANCE

The new Disc Shark EVO will be available in three high-end finishes:

• Original Kashima: Ideal for matching with Fox Kashima components to achieve a top-tier aesthetic and technical setup.
• Black Anodised: A sleek and versatile finish that easily integrates with any build.
• Raw Aluminium: A raw finish that reveals the CNC machining marks from the manufacturing process, without compromising strength or performance.

SIX REASONS IT STANDS OUT

1. New Shark braking track: larger surface, more power.

• Evolved design provides greater mass and contact area, ensuring more powerful and consistent braking.
• Compatible with all types of brake pads, including larger ones, for a perfect fit.

2. Superior cooling: better performance, less fade.

• More fins and thermal dissipation holes help control temperature, ideal for intense descents and extended use.
• Greater thermal stability and longer brake system lifespan.

3. 7075-T6 Aluminum core, CNC machined.

• Fully CNC machined for unprecedented stiffness and precision.
• Aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminium alloy: lightweight and durable.
• Increased lateral stiffness with a 5 mm thick core, thanks to topological optimisation, improves stability and response under extreme conditions and enables even pad wear via symmetrical piston operation.

4. Original Kashima coating: exclusivity and differentiation.

• Increased durability and wear resistance. The Kashima treatment creates an ultra-resistant layer of hard anodised oxide, significantly improving wear resistance. Especially beneficial in the aluminium core exposed to extreme conditions, without compromising its integrity or performance.

5. Hollow rivets for strong hold.

• 8 mm stainless steel hollow rivets provide a solid, reliable connection and reinforce the joint between parts without adding extra weight.

6. Full Compatibility with E-bikes.

• Compatible with speed sensor magnets, maintaining full E-bike system functionality.
